I am a graduate of Michigan State University's Graduate School of Education, studying both Teaching and Curriculum, and Educational Technology. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC, where I was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Teacher Licensure from L-R, and while there, I took several courses in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Multimedia Journalism. I also hold degrees and certifications in Liberal Arts and Web Information Technology from McDowell Technical Community College in Marion, NC.
I have a passion for teaching, learning, thinking, and reading that burns in my heart. I perceive thoughts, cultures, and people both presently and chronistically, compare them, and hope to continue to teach young adults how to do those same things. For me, it doesn't get much better than that.
I am looking quite forward to sharing my passions with you this school year!
